Watr / 1Hotel South Beach

Amphora Projects collaborated with 1 Hotel South Beach to create an immersive video installation for the entryway of their Watr restaurant - a meditative tribute to the elemental force of water. Serving as both a passage and a pause, the piece transforms the space into a living reflection of water’s beauty, power, and essential role in our collective consciousness.

Composed of multi-projector, ultra slow-motion footage, the aqua-kinetic installation reveals water’s ability to shape, flow, and transform. More than a visual experience, the work invites a deeper awareness - offering a quiet, powerful meditation on sustainability, presence, and our interconnected relationship with the natural world.

Presented in partnership with the 1 Hotel South Beach, The City of Miami, ocean preservation organization Blue Action, and VolunteerBeachCleanup.org, this exhibit underscores these organizations' shared commitment to sustainability, with each location articulating the unique relationship that connects viewers to the fluidity of water and its universal presence. The thoughtfully curated installations engage audiences in a dialogue about the fragility of our environment while celebrating water as a timeless and unifying force.
